Budget, week 7

Amazing, for the first week in a long time we are under budget!!! This is partly because I am off work for a week and fully intend to spend some of my precious time off foraging in the local hedges (and hopefully on an English beach or two), dropping in on a pick-your-farm for some last minute harvests and also because our tomatoes, carrots, beetroot and other edibles are finally ripening after a pretty dismal summer. Having more time to myself I can also experiment a little more in the kitchen, meet friends and maybe even have the occasional treat out. So this week there is no hard and fast plan of breakfasts, lunches and dinners just a more relaxed and leisurely eating style.
