Cat update

Well today has been full of the less advertised 'joys' of pet care - the cleaning up (starting in the early hours) of poo, pee and vomit, the tussle with a creature of tooth and claw who dislikes the bitter taste of antibiotics leading to a trip to the doctor's this afternoon for a tetanus jab as a precaution against a toxic claw into and out of the other side of my thumb and throwing away a pair of shoes that were inexplicably full of feline urine. You don't see this in the Felix ads. So here I am, taking solace in a glass of wine and chocolate, nursing a stiffening arm and wondering what the coming night will bring.
