Diamond Jubilee
Spent a couple of cold hours standing in the wind and rain waiting for the Queen today. Despite the weather (the rain held off for most of the day) it was great, everyone was excited and waving flags and banners, most dressed in red, white and blue. The river pageant was quite spectacular and having only waited about 2-3 hours we had the most amazing view, opposite the Tate Modern, under the Millennium Bridge. I'm glad we went, it's the first in 350 years so they don't happen every day!
